Listening experiment on the perception and cognitive processing of musical intervals (4.5 VP hours plus raffle of 3x20€ vouchers)

Hello,

I am looking for participants for a somewhat extensive online study, which will last 4 sessions on different days.
I calculate the total expenditure to 4.5 test person hours. You are free to decide when the sessions will take place, but you should allow enough time per session.

The procedure is roughly like this:
- Session 1 (1.75 hours): schedule, questionnaire on demography and previous musical experience (15 minutes), Experiment I (90 minutes)
- Session 2 (1.25 hours): Continuation of experiment I
- Session 3 (0.75 hours): continuation of experiment I
- Session 4 (0.75 hours): Experiment II

Experiment I (Session 1-3) is about judging the direction of musical intervals (up or down).
Experiment II (Session 4) is about the intervals with which musical melodic structures can be recorded particularly well/badly (or this hypothesis is to be tested). For this purpose, a computer program evaluates the individual findings from Experiment I and designs stimuli that are specially adapted to the person. Since this requires some time, the fourth session takes place at intervals of 1-2 weeks after session 3.

If you are interested in participating, please register with your name and e-mail address under the following link:

This link leads to a DFN appointment calendar. The date and time mentioned there are completely useless. It's just a matter of registering with name and e-mail address so that I can get in touch. The participants* will then receive an e-mail from me with the link to the first three experiment sessions and a subject code which must be requested and correctly entered for each session. A correct entry of the test person code is necessary so that the VP hours and, if applicable, the prize can be spent later.
